The Inner Excellence YWAM house build retreat is open for registration!
- Register here for the YWAM Homes of Hope House Build and a Day of Inner Excellence. You’ll get picked up at San Diego airport and just need your passport—no experience necessary! Build a house in two days alongside a family in need in Ensenada, Mexico and experience a full Inner Excellence retreat as well. The most common response to these retreats is “life-changing.”
We just had our first ever Inner Excellence annual staff retreat in Vancouver, BC, this past weekend. It was phenomenal. So many exciting things to come.
A Year With Jim. One of the most exciting things we’re considering offering is an ongoing coaching program (including multiple retreats) with Jim, his team, and other like-minded people like you! We’re brainstorming what that could look like and would love your ideas.
We’re still planning the first ever Inner Excellence retreat (open to everyone) at my personal residence in Spain! Please let us know if you would prefer December, January, or February. As this is a very intimate experience (likely around a dozen people), if you have a small group that would like to attend, let us know when is best for you. The cost of the retreat will be 3500 euros per person. Note: The location is in La Fustera, Spain. We’re an 8 minute walk to the Mediterranean Sea.

How I Want to Live and Why You Should Take This Journey With Me

In December 2003 I left for the desert. I went to go live a life of relative solitude, to see if what my screensaver said was true, “Those destined for greatness must first walk alone in the desert.” I went on to spend five years in full-time writing and research for the book Inner Excellence.

Since then, life has taken me on an incredible journey, including the week of January 12, 2025, when AJ Brown was filmed reading Inner Excellence during the Wild Card playoff win vs the Packers.

I’ve done roughly 300 interviews and spent perhaps 90% of my time in hotels. Last October I was in 17 cities or so and this October has been more of the same.

It’s been an extraordinary journey, and I want to take you with me.

What I mean is, I want to share my life with you, share our lives together. And get a group of us that all do it together. As you may know, the #1 goal of Inner Excellence is to learn and grow, and the three pillars of Inner Excellence are love, wisdom, and courage. So if you want more of that, come with me and we can learn together!
